I mean really. Obama's biracial not black first of all, if anything he's a nice mocha brown. People making a big fucking deal about him being the 'first black president' is annoying. Commending someone for being the first of their color to do something is to me the same as racism, their color has nothing to do with it. Focusing on someone's color even if it's for a positive thing just promotes racism. Can we please look past the outside and focus on what really matters like convincing dA to actually ban tracing? Cause that'd be something to celebrate.

I do agree that drawing attention to someone's color regardless of context does promote racism.

:lmao: That's a great idea, really! :D I would like to say that I can't imagine someone flaming you for a positive message, but honestly, there are all sorts of silly people out there. The ones I can see flaming you right off the bat are the ones who mistake the stamp the wrong way and don't bother reading your artist comments, because, after all, artist comments are a total waste of space that serve NO purpose, amirite?

I agree. I find it more racist that people were voting for him just based on the fact that he was "black" (in quotes because, quite frankly, he's not.). If you want to say he's making a change, base it on something he does, not something he is. I'm going to wait and see if he'll actually make any "change".

But that's just my opinion *shrug*

I don't think its right to vote for someone based on something superficial like how they look...but i'm pretty sure everyone agrees on that :D
my aunt fifi (who's 85) voted for Kennedy based on his eye color (which was blue) which I find that ludicrous.
